Debate on SB 1070

Man I must say this debate was instance. I wasn’t expecting to hear life stories on how SB 1070 has heart so many families. I think that with the life stories that we heard made some of the class members’ step into the shoes of the people who are immigrants and see why they feel this bill was unconstitutional. Yet at the same time some good arguments where given on SB 1070 on how it is a good think. One of the things that I really believe I toke into consideration was how they where saying that the U.S needs to defend itself before it can help defend other nations. When the debate began I was I was completely against it but toured the end of the discussion I shifted to the neutral side. At the end I went toureds the neutral side because I feel the law is being implemented way too harshly. I can’t wait till the next debate. I really want to be involved in it more.
